Hello, I’m Paul Gent. I didn’t know what to write here, so I thought I’d ask a friend, Jasper!
“Paul Gent is a stalwart of Angel Indoor Bowls Club, having played there for the last 37 years. He has won multiple County Championships, the Home Counties Singles and has won the Liberty Trophy with Kent 3 times in the past. In addition to his exploits on the green, Paul has also been a selector, Men’s Chairman, Social Committee Chairman, newspaper report writer and currently holds the positions of Social Media and Sponsorship Manager as well as being a former Director of the club. He works for in retail for a local small independent shop. When he’s not busy with all that, Paul enjoys nothing more than spending time with his two teenage daughters who help to keep him young at heart! He loves his food (and beer) almost as much as he loves playing bowls!”

I believe that our sport has a lot to offer anyone – young, old, male, female, able bodied and those who need some assistance. But people just don’t realise until they step into a club, whether it be indoors or outdoors. So I help this site goes some way to helping newer bowlers enjoy the game we love, and for people who already play to use as a guide to encouraging more players into the game. And maybe answer questions that they have always wondered about.
